Let’s Dive Deeper into Cold Brew Tea (PLUS)

  • As previously mentioned, the flavor of cold brew tea is directly influenced by the water temperature and steeping time. If you prefer a richer flavor, try using slightly warm water around 40°C to steep the tea, let it cool to room temperature, and then refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours. The key to great-tasting cold brew tea lies in the temperature of the water. Of course, you can always adjust the amount of water or tea leaves according to your personal taste.

If you want to quickly enjoy a chilled, refreshing cup, simply steep one tea bag in about 300 c.c. of hot water for 4–5 minutes (or 2–3 minutes for black tea), then add ice to instantly chill the tea. This quick iced tea method also delivers excellent flavor!

Each Sanyu Tang tea bag contains 3 grams of tea, and we recommend using 500 c.c. of water per bag for optimal cold brew results.
