Alishan small-leaf black tea is from the Alishan Shizhao tea area at an altitude of 1,500 meters, using summer season Qingxin oolong tea as base by fully oxidated professional techniques to complete the unique high mountain black tea. Qingxin Oolong tea in summer season has rich tea polyphenols and is the best choice to produce small-leaf black tea.
The growth of high-quality tea leaves, relies on the unique terroir and weather conditions of Alishan area, which can produce the black tea with characters of strong aroma and rebrewing several times. It combines the sweet flavor of black tea with the unique high mountain charm of Alishan perfectly.
The tea shows amber color and full of floral and fruity aroma and aftertaste is with a hint of oolong tea aroma. It also has smooth and mellow texture. Alishan small-leaf black tea presents another black tea style in Taiwan high mountain tea.
