Green tea, also known as “raw tea” or “unoxidized tea”, the tea leaves go through the ” fixation ” process immediately after being picked. It contents the richest catechins. “Steaming fixation ” refers a technology by using high-temperature steam quickly to stop the oxidation of tea leaves.
Sanyutang’s Taiwan Steamed Green Tea is shattered tea leaves. It is recommended to brew with 70 degrees hot water which can make the tea taste more refreshing and sweeter and less likely to destroy the rich nutrients within the tea leaves. The tea shows bright green in color and has a flavor similar to Japanese green tea.
